  • Lay the vinyl sheet backing side down on your cutter mat.

Cut your design and remove from the cutting mat.

Weed the design to remove unwanted vinyl. This should be done with a weeding tool. A light box may make it easier to see the design and allow for easier weeding.

Apply your transfer tape to the front of your design and use a scraper to make sure the design has adhered to the tape.

Ensure your application surface has been thoroughly clean and is free from dust, grease and any residue or contamination that could affect the adhesion of the vinyl.

Place the design sticky side down onto the surface and scrape well with your scraper to ensure it has good adhesion. If you lay the vinyl down in one spot first and roll it down as you scrape it will help to avoid any trapped air bubbles, making for a smooth finish.

Carefully remove your transfer tape and store for later use.

    Admire your project.
